Origin and Early Life
Yin Hong began as a mortal figure whose exceptional qualities destined them for greatness. Many heroes of the Investiture of the Gods are disciples of immortal masters, taught from childhood in the arts of war and magic. Their mortal origins gave them relatable virtues that resonate with devotees.
Yin Hong is the younger brother of Yin Jiao. Like his brother, he is captured by Jiang Ziya and joins Zhou, but is later executed for betrayal.
