The Rakshasi Princess Iron Fan of 《西游记》 holds the only fan that can quench the flames of Fire Mountain — one wave for wind, two for rain, three to extinguish the fire. The novel paints her proud and formidable: beautiful, armored in elegance, swinging the giant palm-leaf fan that sends Sun Wukong tumbling through the sky.
