White Tiger God Wallpaper

The tiger god (虎爷) guards temple precincts across southern China — often shown as a small tiger beneath the altar of the Earth God or as Mazu's mount, his mouth open to swallow demons. Folk belief credits him with protecting children from fright: parents bring crying infants to touch the paper tiger at the temple fair, and the fear passes into his keeping.
